u r stressed about this because it is starting to consume ur life. relax and enjoy trying to get pregnant, it will happen, and it may be too early for the tests to pick up the pregnancy hormone yet. i have heard conflicting reports that it takes up to six months to conceive after stopping the pill, but on the other hand some people get pregnant right away. give yourself six months regardless before you really start to worry

When I stopped taking my B/C pills after taking them for only 6 months, my doctor advised me that it could take 3 - 6 months for my body's hormones to stabilzed and return to having a regular cycle and that I should not expect to get preg. until atleast 3 months. If you didn't have a regular period before you may return to your old cycle. If you are on B/C you should have a MD. You should ask them as well. My husband and I are both in the medical profession and agree, this is why you pay MD's so much, it intitles you to call and ask these questions of them. You may just get a nurse but it is worth a try.

My doctor explained to me that after you stop BC it can take up to 1 year to conceive. Although every woman is different, it can take up to at least 6 months. The BC is still in your system. Sorry to inform you, but I doubt your pregnant.

It can take up to a year for your body to normalize. In my own case, it took me six months after stopping bc pills to conceive.

it totally depends on your body. it can take a long time for your body to get back to its normal cycle. Remember, you were taking hormones that your body didn't naturally produce so it's got to go back to "normal".
are you having sex at the right time during the month? The best time to do it is one to three days before ovulation. If you really want to get preggers, try an ovulation predictor kit. You can get one from Target or CVS. Good luck!
