i love ipods. but the first one i got simply stopped working a couple of months after the warranty ran out, and the second one i have has just broken, but this time a year after the warranty ran out. is it an elaborate scam? because if it is, its working because im going to buy another lol, because they are the best mp4 players.

If they keep breaking on you after the warranty runs out I just have 2 questions for you, how are they the best and why would you even consider buying another? I myself have the same player that I've had for a year and 1/2 and I've never had any issues with it.No it's not an iPod and I would never buy an iPod. The one iPod I ever had I never used. I got it as a gift and took it back to the store where it was bought unopened. iPods are vastly over-rated. I strongly suggest before you buy any other player you look at what else is on the market and do some homework. There has to be a reason why the vast majority of problems in this section having to do with players have to do with iPods and iPhones. I'd also take the above posters advice and look at what Creative has to offer. They've been in the market longer than Apple when it comes to DAP (digital audio players). I personally use my PSP for a portable video/photo/music player and I also have a Cowon iAudio u2 which I use as a pocket player.

No problems with my iPods - I had a Gen 2 iPod an prolonged term shrink lower back, not in any appreciate had any problems, and now I easily have a Gen 5 30GB video and so a methods so sturdy after 3 hundred and sixty 5 days! I actual have heard of the priority you're having yet i don't think of that's that easy?

They are designed to break just outside warranty, thus forcing you to buy another one. Then another. And another.

iPods are rubbish - Apple's marketing department has convinced millions of gullible people to shell out their cash for a poorly made, poorly performing piece of tat. That kind of marketing is pure genius!
