I like your avatar name and would not comment otherwise even if my opinion was different. How ever the Check spelling feature would have told you that Crappy is the correct spelling and do not understand why you would not use that button to make sure all of your spelling is correct.

Some people get kick out of telling others they have made a mistake or generally taking the p**s. Perhaps they have nothing better to do....
I personally don't care about the spelling. There are some genuine typos and some people just can't spell.... so what?
As long as the question or answer can be read and understood it's not the end of the world if the spelling is wrong.
You can have whatever avatar name you like as long as it's not offensive by being racist, sexist or homophobic (in the free world at least)....
Love and peace.............. even if you can't spell or your avetar name is cr*p. (but your avatar name is is cool anyway!!!!)

I don`t bother about people`s names but i do sometimes wonder what is going on with the spelling, it just makes people look very dumb if they can`t spell. I don`t attack anyone for it though.

Rubbish avatars/screen names don't bother me as long as they're not offensive.
I just find it irritating when people have bad grammar/spelling when there is a "Check Spelling" function.

ummm...idk why they whould care cuz it's not their avatar but some people are just bossy. and some always want it to be their way. so when they see bad spelling, it probably bugs them. or maybe it's just somone's pet peve.

i use spellchecker so i don't get picked on for that. But i do get people thinking i smoke weed...........just to set the record straight........I'm mish (Michelle) my ex boyfriends name is billy, people called him billabong so the name bong stuck!!

it elevates some ppls egos ,to put others down.
it's an insecurity issue they have with themselves.
which usually means they're young ppl and still figuring themselves out ,
or they are grown ups and emotionally stunted.
you should feel sorry for them, and hope they either make it thru puberty without getting their butts kicked too much ,
or find a better therapist,
respectively. ; )

Because it gives them good feeling about themselves.
They feel they are above you or better than you by tease or annoying you.
