could be something as simple as a recalibration of the computer. being an 06 if you aren't over 36000 miles take it to the dealer for warranty work. if you are over 36 our shop usually charges 1 hour diagnostics and if the computer needs reprogrammed this would be included in the hour labor.

YOU SHOULD GET THE VEHICLES COMPUTER SCANNED AND CHECK FOR ANY PROBLEMS AS WELL AS CODES AND THEN YOU WILL HAVE A GOOD IDEA ON WHAT THE PROBLEM TRULY IS.

TRY FINDING AN INDEPENDENT SHOP INSTEAD OF THE DEALER OR A CHAIN STORE BECAUSE YOU WILL BE OVERALL MORE PLEASED WITH THE FINDINGS AND THE SERVICE.

LEAVE IT THERE WITH THEM SO THAT THEY CAN FIND THE PROBLEM FOR YOU, IT WILL BE A LOT BETTER THAN JUST REPLACING PART AFTER PART AND NOT DOING ANY GOOD.

sounds like you have a bad spark plug that is not firing. The next thing that could be wrong is one of your spark plug wires is off or needs to be replaced. I would see a dealer about the problem if a wire or a plug is not the problem!

Electric power steering is bad. It's inside the steering wheel and cost $800 to repair. (Wonder how many thumbs down will I get on this answer)

Whatever it is have it fixed! That knocking is damaging your cylinder walls.
