My parents are currently with Virgin Media using an ADSL connection.
Is it possible for me to have a separate ADSL connection with another ISP such as Orange?
I would be using a different computer and they would not be networked.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see why you couldn't. You would obviously have to pay for it, but yes you could.
