I have a son that just turned 1 in July and my husband and i just found out I'm preg. again.

Honey I am 30 weeks pregnant with baby #2. When our daughter was 10 months I found out I was pregnant. It is a little surprising but we couldnt be any happier.. We are looking forward to the birth of our son.. Although my daughter will be about 18 months when he is born we are still looking forward to it.. Just be thankfull you didnt get pregnant as soon as your son was born.. A year to me is a pretty good time..

My brother and I are 22 mos apart. As long as you are willing to accept this new bundle of joy, don't worry about your son. When they are that close it's like having a friend over constantly...that you can fight with over the toys! ha ha Just make sure your son doesn't feel pushed out and he can enjoy the new baby too. It will all work out ok and you'll have two smiling faces to look at each morning. Congratulations.

I totally understand, I was holding my 3 month old son when I was looking at a positive pregnancy test. It was the bleakest day of my life. Those two children are now as close as twins. It was hard and a struggle but we got through it. The best thing I can offer is to make sure you get your quiet time and don't forget to sleep.

It may seem too overwhelming right now but it only gets better. Seriously, and you can let your Doctor know you would like your tubes tied after the delivery of your 2nd child because you feel your family is now complete.
This happened to both my sister and myself. Although it seems a lot right now, down the road it can be a blessing. Instead of always having to be the playmate to your 1st child, the 2 will often entertain one another and will be emotionally close throughout their lives.
They are still close and have graduated High School
It's not as bad as it seems right now--Congratulations Again

It hasn't happened to me yet, but it's happened to a couple of my sisters, and my mom. My siblings and I are all very close in age, and I wouldn't trade that for anything.Your first child will be almost two years old by the time this next one is born, it's not as bad as it might seem now. You'll be fine!

Well you will be up to your ears in diapers , but look at it this way ---they will both be out of diapers at about the same time ! Good luck sweetheart !
