In my opinion, I think basketball is better, but tennis and basketball are two very different sports. Basketball is a team sport, and there is usually a lot of contact between the opposing players. There are time outs, fouls, substitutions, screaming coaches, referees on the court, and a whistle that could blow at any moment. There is a set amount of playing time, too. In tennis, a racket is used, and there is no physical contact between opposing players.

Not a good question to ask on a basketball page. But to answer your question I would say Basketball. I been a basketball fan for many years now and love watching it.
Tennis-
Good: Individual sport that shows skills, surprisingly hard sport.
Bad: Hard to find a great audience to watch as entertainment.
Basketball-
Good: Exciting, team sport, shows swagger in the game, anybody can get into the game right away.
Bad: The crime rates on players and the most recent Ref gambling on games. (Makes you feel if the game is fake)

Basketball. It is climate controlled where they play basketball. Tennis is so boring. Only two players to watch. I like team sports better.

u serious? Basketball by far is better.....because tennis is boring to watch, and on top of that it's only two people and unlike basketball it isn't a team related sport..and basketballs alot more popular too.

my only problem with Tennis these days is that Federer seems to be so much better than everyone else that he almost always wins the big tournaments.
Tennis was more fun when you had more equal rivalries like Connors/McEnroe or even Sampras/Aggasi (although I think Sampras was actually a bit better, but Aggasi could beat him sometimes at least)
