Hands down, return the wallet with all the money still inside. Did that once and the man gave me 50.00 just because he was glad that I was honest, and for the fact that he didn't have to worry about his identity being stolen, or credit being damaged. So it does pay to be honest!

I'd call if there was a number or mail it to them all in tact, money and all. I'd hope for a reward but from past experience I know that is not always the case.
I would "not" turn it over to the police. The last time I did, with money in it the people called and asked if there was any money in it when I found it.
Seems the police gave my number but took the money.

I most certainly return the wallet with all it's content. If someone found mine I would appreciate it , if they returned mine. Honesty is the best policy.
