I would suggest the cheerleading, because it's an activity for the young, you really want to give it a try, and your friends - if they're true friends - won't desert you just because you choose it over tennis. In fact, you might actually do better at it because you won't need to be concerned about what your friends think about your ability and progress.

Tennis, on the other hand, is a lifetime sport, and if you want to learn it a few years down the road, it will be no big deal. I have a friend who is over 70 and still plays tennis. I can imagine that if you chose tennis to be with your friends, and spent one or two semesters not getting anywhere with it, that you'd regret not trying the cheerleading.

Tennis is not a sport to get inolved in without the commitment...it may be a no cut program, but you won't be participating much in matches unless the other teams have "B" squads or the schedule has "B" matches. I mostly suggest sports over cheering, but in this case you should be on the cheerleading squad.

I've Been In That Situation Hun,
I Know You want To Be With Your Friends,
But Do What You're Good At,
You Don't Wanna Be In A Sport
With Your Friends If You Don't Enjoy/Love It.
Do What You Love To Do,
It's The Beasst Thing To Do. =]

If you love cheerleading then you should do cheerleading. you can make great new friends and do something that you enjoy. although it would be nice to be on the tennis team with your friends it would make you unhappy. and its not something that you want. If i were you I'd choose cheerleading but the ultimate choice is up to you. Follow Your Heart. If you love cheer then do it, if you hate tennis then don't.
