Fossils can happen very quickly. A fossilized foot was found, with a cowboy boot still on it. Many dino bones have been found that still had soft tissues! Not all Creationist believe the earth is only 6000 years old. They still do not believe Darwinism.
Wings on rocks would tend to prove evolution. Not Intelligent design!
What is so silly about masturbation? If it seems a sin to you. Don't do it!
Junk DNA, has also been proven to be a false assumption of evolution. None coding DNA has been found to have function.
On deaf ears, I know, but for other readers.
There are no vestigial organs. Everyone evolution has predicted to be vestige has proven to have function. That is a evo myth.
Don't know what your talking about with this, "or the dispensability of many proteins of the eukaryotic flagellum etc?" But it certainly doesn't disprove irreducible complexity, if that is what your hinting at.

Why?
perhaps because some people, rather than accept the facts, would rather cling to the antiquitated notion that their magical sky daddy snapped his fingers and created existence, because it gives them psychological contentment to think that someone out there has their back, rather than rely on themselves.
Heck, there are so many things wrong with the female reproductive system, which has caused the painful death of an innumeral amount of women and children, that I am more apt to call it "Sadistic design" than Intelligent design.
So lets see here, our choice is between:
-the genocidal, xenophobic, mysogynist tribal text, written over 3,000 years ago, which was intended to spur the tribe on to even greater levels of hatred for anyone who doesn't agree with their interpretation of the magical sky daddy which created everything (because we all know that those tribals knew more about the universe than modern scientists).
or
-the combined work of thousands of scientists, thinking men, and other illuminaries who have nothing physical to gain from spreading their knowledge, no homilies, no extra land, no 72 virgins, nothing but a tiny little thing called "the truth".

Here's more you can add;
Why do humans have a genome where less than 2% of our nucleobase sequences are actually involved in protein assemblage (genes)? And more than 75% of the leftover genetic junk is organized into gene like sequences that so closely resemble genes found in our distant relatives? Why do humans have large chunks of vestigial amphibian and reptile genes that have been deactivated by stop codons?

When their faith is threatened by facts, some people try to put all kinds of spins on things so as to be able to continue to believe what they need to believe.

I can hardly believe how ridiculous some answers are that you have gotten here. People who believe creationism blind themselves to many truths. One never learns anything by seeing only what he wants to see. That means he gleefully mentions anything that seems to support his pet beliefs, regardless of how feebly it supports them or how silly it is. At the same time, he ignores any evidence, however strong and logical it is, that disproves his beliefs. The logical person accepts evolution. As you note, it seems that some god tried to deceive people by placing evidence that supports evolution. One moron told me his god was just testing our faith. Ridiculous!!!

God doesn't try to "make us believe". We have free will. God doesn't "trick" us either. God has allowed us to develop reason, wisdom, and intellect in order to discern how this planet works, including figuring out the processes of evolution.
You seem to not understand the concept of a God or evolution.

Hi,
It isn't true, but it would take you about four years of physics and Bio-chem to unlearn what you might have learned in school. You will also want to study some of the higher math disciplines, and then you'll understand why Evolution is a total impossibility. Don't be fooled into thinking built in variations in the DNA coding is evolution. All traits are built in and come out under different conditions. The genes are already there, but most scientist of Evolutionary training point to the obvious and say.... hey this proves Evolution, but in fact they are just seeing what has already been built in. As far as masturbating monkeys go....there's always someone trying to pull someone Else's chain! ; )
