I've seen the question posed very often about who isn't in that should, and just thought this would be an interesting counter point to it.

Graig Nettles insn't in the Hall of Fame.

Bill Mazeroski is widely considered to be the best defensive second baseman ever. REAL baseball fans know the importance of defense. Brooks Robinson's offensive numbers aren't great, he's also in the Hall mainly for his defensive abilities.

Bill Mazerowski deserves to be in the hall. This is where defense is so underrated. Best fielding % ever for a 2B. Vizquel will get in next. Rick Ferell does not belong there. There is some crazy story on why he's there. I can't remember it but I heard he got in by chance.

I say Don Sutton, his numbers are a product of longevity. He bounced around because they kept saying that he was washed up over and over again. Some have named some defensive catchers but all those guys had the whole league wanting them to mentor their pitching prospects and control the rotation.

without a doubt, Bill Mazeroski. Never had 20 homers, had more than 80 RBI twice, never hit higher than .283. Has a caeer OBP UNDER .300. He was a very good defensive player, though.

Basically, he's in HOF on the strength of the walk-off Game 7 homer in the 1960 WS.

I don't know thee least worthy thats in, but the most worthy that isn't in the hall of fame is Pete Rose, Charlie Hustle, played with his whole heart. Gambling has nothing to do with hitting dog gone ball!!! and the preformance on the field and running the bases is second to none. I'm not even a Pete Rose fan but give credit where credit is due.

HAHAHHAAA!!!! The so called "#1 Yankee fan" thinks Graig Nettles is in the hall???

I'm guessing you're nothing more than a bandwagon fan since 1996.

Learn your history before you open your mouth and make a complete fool of yourself.

2 players, both catchers, are generally regarded as the least worthy.

Ray Schalk & Rick Ferrell. Take your pick.
