Yes, I was born in 1967 and graduated high school in 1986.
My biggest fashion mistake was probably the tiger print sweatshirt with the arms cut out that I wore with a pair of checkerboard vans. I also had my hair cut just like Sting's. I really liked the boys' style better than the girls'. My sister, on the other hand, did the Madonna thing all the way.
So fun!

No, I became an adult in 1980 (18). I have made plenty of fashion mistakes, though! Through the years. Live and learn. One I can think of is wearing a tie with a white shirt.

i graduated HS in '81 so iwas a teen the firstpart of the 80s
my fashion statement was jeans, pocket T-shirt(4 my cigs) and boots oh and lets not forget the mirrored shades
the preppy kids wore different stuff but i didnt care i was comfortable as i was
so i didnt commit a fashion mistake because where i hung out at tat was the fashion

My biggest mistake was being original and unique.
Then again....isn't that the decade when Sun-In came out? I had a bad time with Sun-In...sheesh....

stirrup pants with the oversized sweatshirts and left warmers, tie dyed t shirts, peg legged jeans...boy the list could go on...oh, yeah don't forget the teased hair with the wings (holding the sides of your hair out and hair spraying them stiff) lol, the memories :)

Ra-Ra skirts, shoulder pads, sad big hair and awful perms.
Wot about the haircut that cut all your long beautiful hair off except an inch at the back..... looked like the hairdresser forgot the last snip! then the rest of your hair fluffed up like it had been cut with a bowl, because your hair had been heavy with the weight of it.
Urgh! thanks for reminding me!
