Well to start with -Why have you only got 3 days?- I know that is a Q. to you BUT- I was just wondering have you gotton a notice and did you know that yo actually have 3 mos. in some States before you have to leave enen after you get a notice to tell you that you have got to move... But Maybe if you can't found another place to rent right now - I would put stuff in storage and if possible put it in a family or a friends storage so you can save what money you do have for looking and possibly getting a new place. And if they will let you stay with them until you get back on your feet. Asure them that you are looking real hard and that you will not be there long... If none of this is possible for you then store your stuff and have a yard sell with stuff you really do not need- then you just might make enough money to get a place... If you don't make enough then make sure that you check into a hotel that has weekly and monthly rates.... GOOD-LUCK

First of all, I am assuming that you had more than 3 days to move out. I would get a job. There are several places hiring even if it is McDonald's. I would also remember the lesson you learned in the last apartment. Pay and follow the rules or you will be escorted by the Sheriff. Nothing in this world is for free. Why would you move into an apartment if you didn't have money?????? To be evicted again. You should move in with family if they let you....get a job....pay them when you can.....and wake up to the real world. Instead of searching yahoo answers, start searching job listings!

Your Q sounds like something I recently responded to in detail. To respond: I'd put my stuff in storage, or store my stuff at my relatives home or a friend's home or their livingroom with the understanding that I would retrieve it but that I would pay them for holding my stuff (and do that on paper so you both have a record of the understanding). My stuff for a large storage unit used to cost me $80 and I only needed half of it. Anyway, now is a good time to get rid of the junk you don't need, put some important things into your car (cover them well)...like clothes, a radio, an alarm clock, blankets, glass, plate and silverware, a waterbottle, etc. in case you have to live in there. Never take out a lease unless you have a good job and can pay for the rent by yourself. And, you probably will now have to return home for at least a year or to a friend's house since you will owe on the current lease and it may end up on your credit report. Use your $200 for food and sign up for unemployment and food stamps immediately. Then sign up at some agencies who might be able to farm you out. Use some of the money for gas. It takes you about $80 or more to get a temp job (while you're living free with family).

Well, if you were paying rent and they asked you to leave within 3 days, that's illegal. Landlords have to guarantee 30 days minimum for a tenant to vacate. If the tenant doesn't want to vacate, he/she CAN stay and appeal this in a court (which can push the eviction off another 90 days).
However...
If you were NOT paying rent, as in staying with family/friends and THEY are the ones telling you to leave...then you should go. $200 is enough to start talking to other landlords. I would suggest skipping meals and saving as much as possible. You could also pawn some of your things to pay for a downpayment on an apartment.
This situation doesn't sound horrible or unattainable.

OH honey i am so sorry!
This has happened to me 2x... i lived at my parents' house, and they kicked me out two different times. I moved in with my bf the first time, and the second, i got an apt. I was ready to rent a storage facility and keep my crap there. That's what this kid i know does. but he lost his job and cant even pay for that now. Please get a job, honey. If you have one, keep going. Work hard, don't buy drugs or anything silly.
I would say that if you have relatives who will take you, move in with them temporarily. Let them know that you will pay them back when you can for rent and whatnot, even though they may offer the stay for free. You need to make them feel like you are grateful. Keep the area clean and follow their rules until you find your own place.
Good luck

Family members it is! Stay with them, get a job, and get out as soon as possible. Use your $200 to either help with the groceries or hit McDonald's for your victuals. Save enough for gas for the job hunt.
I was in this situation for the first several years of my long lifespan. I floated from parents to sisters and brothers and cousins. It was horrible, but I made it. You can, too!

Our neighbors got evicted from their house and they had 2 days to move out. They basically just put everything in plastic garbage bags and stayed with some friends or family. If you had enough time you should sell all your stuff (except for the senimental and necissary stuff) in a garage sale, those bring in a lot of money (somtimes). So if I was in your situation I would just pack up your senimental and necissary stuff and move in with a family member who's willing to put up with you.

I would go stay with a friend and explain that you will be moving as soon as you have saved enough money .It is a shame to be evicted I know how that feels . good luck .

So you have answered, your own question or haven't you noticed...to get an apartment is not a choice if you don't have the money.
I have not been in the situation, I don't want to be.
I'm sorry for you dud, but is your family or if you have a car go for it, save the money to eat ect.
and if you have a job get another one you are going to need it.
