Neither. Glass bits are not expensive. They look kind of like masonry bits. Use some type putty to make a dam around where you want to drill the hole. Add some isopropyl alcohol and salt to cool the bit and add abrasion.

Get a piece of tubing/pipe that's same OD (Outside Diameter) that you want the hole to be.
Cut saw teeth into the end. (A Dremel with a cut-off wheel works best, but a saw and files can be used) Pay attention to direction tubing will rotate in drill motor, and cut teeth in proper direction.
Use a drill press, build a dam around area to drill with putty.
Fill dam with a mixture of water and valve grinding compound.
Drill it slow, with light pressure, or kiss the bottle goodbye!

I would suggest the rock bits, since a lot of rocks are very like glass.

if u have a tile bit..thats the one that has like a diamond shaped head that will work on glass too since its about the same consistency as tile....ive done it before just have to drill it slow
