Practically everyone gets like this at some point when they're pregnant! No matter how long you've waited and how many setbacks you suffered along the way. It doesn't make you want the baby any less, just like getting annoyed with your kids doesn't make you love them less. At 8 months, you should be really slowing down now and making time for yourself to rest as much as possible so you've got all the energy you need for labour.
Don't feel guilty about feeling uncomfortable, because you are and you have every right to be! And if you just sit there pretending you feel fabulous, how's anyone going to know you need a bit more looking after than usual?

I feel for you. I am in the same boat. I am 33 weeks. I am getting very impatient with everything & everyone. Like you I feel like I have all this stuff I have to get done, but never can seem to do it. This is my 2nd and tried very hard for this one and I do not feel guilty when I complain a little. It gets hard when you get to the 3rd trimester. Just try to take it easy as much as you can, and work on what you need done a little at a time. I know it seems so far away, but really the baby will be here soon enough. Enjoy your last few weeks that you have to yourself (if this is your first) cause things will be changing after that baby comes home. Good changes, but trust me it is harder to take care of a baby outside the womb than it is in it.
Good luck to you.

I am also 8 months pregnant and I work in a place with no air conditioning so it's like 90 degrees in here right now! And I AM COMPLAINING!!! lol, people understand hun, cuz you're pregnant....complain away! We are very uncomfortable and if someone says hi how are you? They better get ready for an earful :) I'm also to the point that I don't care that I'm complaining - I am THAT uncomfortable sweating like a pig with a foot in my rib! Ok, rant over!!

I'm right there with ya. I'm ready to have my baby here and stop being pregnant, while I am greatful for this amazing blessing. I dont think there is anything wrong with feeling this way. We've walked around for so long with the added weight, being uncomfortable, pain and trying to always do the right thing for the baby. There's nothing wrong with wanting to be a little selfish and to have the baby here already!
Good luck and congrats on the little one!

Hehe, I posted a very similar question about a week ago. I am currently 35 weeks only instead of a bloated elephant, I said I felt like a beached whale.

Im 34 weeks and I feel the exact same way as you... I cant sleep at night anymore because every position is uncomfortable, and the heat is just exhausting and we shouldn't feel guilty about complaining.. theirs ppl out there who aren't even pregnant and complain about those things..we just have a reason. :D

You have every right to complain. Every woman feels this way at this point during their pregnancy and if someone is making you feel guilty then they have never gone through it themselves. Don't worry though, it'll all be over soon and you will be holding your precious bundle of joy!

I wouldn't feel guilty. Us pregnant women endure a lot. Especially in the summer time. Plus we gotta go through all the drama to deliver out bundles of joy.
