My girlfriend just bought fly tape. Basically, it is tape you hang from the wall. When flies go near it, they get stuck to it.
Personally, I think this is evil. The problem is that they don't die, they just have to "stick" there and starve to death.
I have no personal affinity for flies, but "fly tape" is just rude!
Anyone else agree?

I'm a person that refuses to kill bugs at all. Partially because the crunching noise/feeling and partially because I think that's mean. I won't even kill wasps/bees which I am terrified of...
If she's going to kill the flies, why not just use a fly swatter? I agree. Fly tape is evil.

Lets look at this from another point. The second flies land on anything they vomit on it. You, food, some cow pies, dog waffles in the back yard. I'd rather have the things stuck to tape then in my food.

I don't agree. Have you ever seen a horse's face with flies all over it. I use everything I can to keep those buggars away. I would rather have them on sticky tape than on me, my food or my animals.
But that is just me.

I think the fly doesn't comprehend the problem. I don't know if they live in terror from the fear of death...that's a pretty complex emotion for slightly larger brain pans.

if only your a fly but they can over populated and #2 flies make people sick by landing on there food.

the avearge life span of a fly is only 1 day anyways so it's more like corpse control.

I would like to have gerbil tape, we have an infestation with them buggers. I wouldn't mind them getting stuck cuz Stooge brought these critters in my house and he lives at a piker camp.

yeah sounds evil but they are really gross and they tend to make you sick by standing on your food and laying eggs or whatever they do. they only live a couple of hours so they dont suffer long
