I don't know, but I think a lot of these answers are full of it.. People in the military are just like civilians at home.. Differant political beliefs all around.. To say that you've been in and never heard an opposition to the Bush gov't or the war is plain rediculous.. There are plenty over there that disagree with this war.. And for the most part, even though they may still agree with the war.. After they come back they don't seem to be as supportive as they were when they left..

To find that out, you would have to ask EACH individual soldier returning from Iraq. I'm sure some do have resentment, but not necessarily towards Bush, more towards the war and how restricted their operations may have been.

the ones i know, including my son, feel sad that many americans and the media do not report all that has been accomplished. but moral is high and they know that they are doing a great job and trying to do more.

we hear many of the bad things but seldom hear the good things so don't buy all the liberal's press offers, it simply isn't true. i am sure there are expections to the rule as in most issues and the media has 'jumped on the bandwagon to report it..see link below, only to find out it was bogus, but that fact was hardly reported.

Some are and some are not. There is no generalized answer that one could give. It was the same in Vietnam and with the World Wars from what I heard and experienced. One can probably presume there is some form of resentment when soldiers return from any war. Some are resentful and others are not. It is all human nature.

No they don't. They do have resentment towards the media that is trying to undercut everything they have seceded in accomplishing over there. They do resent these so called Americans that don't support their mission. They are doing a great thing.

I live in a military area where we train all of our helicopter pilots many of whom have been to Iraq on numerous occasions. I have yet to meet one person who proposes pulling out and leaving behind innocent people who have supported us.

Generally, no.

Oh, they have specific problems with certain things, but overall they are proud to serve their country, fairly disgusted with the protests, and certain they are doing a good job over there.

I make an effort to go up to every military man and woman I meet. I talk to them, and I make clear that they are my heroes, that I support them in their efforts and opinions. I listen.

A lot of people would like to paint this view of them, but they're aware of it and fairly disgusted by it. It's a bad idea to make up stuff. It usually backfires badly at the poles.

We can't afford that.

Uh, no. Where did you see that? On the dailykos or moveon.org? The vast majority of our soldiers and Iraq veterans are in support of the war and our President and VP and are proud to be a part of it.
