John Maine has a record of 12-5 and an ERA of 2.92. Ted Lilly has a record of 11-5 with an ERA of 3.60. Though both pitchers are good, Maine is clearly the better one.

I'll go with John Maine. The Mets offense is better than the Cubs. I really enjoy watching Lilly pitch because he has such a good curveball.

I have to go with Lilly, Cubs have been so hot lately (that still sounds weird saying it). Not taking anything away from Maine though.
