You can expect a lot of showers during this time of year because we're in the middle of hurricane season. Hurricane season starts around mid-June and goes all the way to late October. Around this time the showers are mostly tropical wave/storm related but it's really nothing to worry about. The showers are intermittent and it's rare for them to last an entire day.

It's the hurricane season so they forecast showers. Ignore and enjoy the Islands. If you get a shower, no worries you'll be in the water.

Enjoy and be sure to take a ferry over to St John.

the showers this time of year come from passing tropical waves...like today Sunday it rained for about 4 hours.......far more typical this year is VERY scattered showers, where it rains on one part of the island for 15 minutes but not anywhere else.......the Wet Season, such as it is, is in May so come on down!

i lived on st. thomas for a year.....there never seemed to be a time when we got more rain....more like welcome showers that passed and went. sometimes we stayed on the beach when it rained. if it's still the same there....the wait staff come to you on the beach :-) however, if this is a family vacation you might have something else in mind.
