You know I was just now getting over how PO'd I was last night and there you go, just when I thought I was out they pull me back in.
No illegal is illegal, there should be NO constitutional rights until the Democrats declare that all rights are God given and Congress can never ever touch them, there should be no freebies to illegals, NOTHING.
I cannot understand this thing in Congress with giving things to criminals. It makes me so angry.
At what point do Americans say stop to Congress?

It goes even deeper than that.. Here's the information and yes, I've already contacted my Senators and Congressman.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – On August 2, Democrats fixed a House vote in order to overturn a motion that would prevent undocumented immigrants from receiving federal housing funds. The House voted 215 to 213 to deny housing and employment to illegal immigrants on the annual agriculture spending bill. The votes were counted, but the Speaker closed the vote with his gavel. The Democrats then unilaterally and imperially overturned this result—defying 218 years of precedent. The Speaker reopened the vote to ensure that the motion was then defeated by a vote of 212 to 216, disenfranchising the American people and paving the way for illegal immigrants to receive federal housing and employment benefits.

I believe that the Constitution was written for all people that are inside the US borders. EVERYONE is entitled to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. EVERYONE is guaranteed the rights that the Constitution gives.
Having said that, however...no, I don't want my tax dollars going to illegal immigrants. They're here illegally, which implies that they don't have the respect for, or follow, the laws of the United States. I'd be happier using the money to charter jets to deport illegals than enabling them to continue breaking our laws.
There's more than enough things that benefit citizens and the country as a whole that the money can go for.
Oh...Texas republican.

No if someone is illegal they deserve no governmental assistance in any form. Local government, state and federal agencies should all combine resources to root out illegals and deport the ones that can be found. When illegals are found through the hospital systems, educational system, etc they should be deported. I am willing to do what I can do by pressuring my elected officials on this. Republican.

It depends. Many undocumented aliens have Tax ID cards issued by the IRS and they pay taxes, this is something the right tends to forget. The IRS issues the cards and they undocumented alien pays their taxes just like you and I, in return they are not turned over to the INS by the IRS (There's a hint as to what is really important here...always always follow the money). If they pay taxes they are entitled to benefits, including public assistance if they loss their jobs
Not paying taxes. never have paid taxes, never intended to pay taxes, then weather documented or undocumented citizen or otherwise no benefits
