EDIT:

Mamianka is correct -- the Dover is an exact copyof the Durand -- if you compare the two, you'll even see the same engraving mistakes :-D

But I don't know if they have done the Violin Sonata -- they tend to stick to the more popular works.

See if you can get a reprint in Dover - those imports will KILL you! And that paper is often of poor quality - Dover stuff is GREAT! A good site to buy European music is www.di-arezzo.com. I keep a little list of things I want to have directly shipped to me. Right now, the Euro exchange is NOT favorable, but there have been times where I have hit it BIGTIME, and gotten great bargains. Even with the shipping!

You do know that Durand holds a lot of Debussy copyrights due to a French tax pay-off from many years ago - but bit by bit, things DO appear elsewhere. Also in Broekman and Van Poppel editions (Dutch), of all places. Check my spelling onthat one!

only if you are perfectionist .... if its important enough to ask the question YES is the answer .... if you are not a perfectionist the other editions should be sufficient
