Im really stuck on the name Mary Ellen. I really like it! Mary Ellen would be the childs first name. What do you think?

What's important is that you love it!
Just a thought but if it's all a first name you may think of doing it with no space in between MaryEllen so it's clear it's all a first name not a first and a middle. I went to school with someone who would have to use the second half as a Middle on standardized tests cause you weren't allowed to use a space in your first name.

thats cool. then you can call her Molly.
Molly is a sweet name for a girl.
dont be concerned with the dukes of hazzard or Waltons references. People her age will not know what the hell those shows are. I barely do and im in my 20's.
