Worst thing - losing my mom, which drove me into isolation.
Best thing - finding the love of my life, who helped me come out of my shell and remain sane through tough times.

Having parents is the worst. Getting married and having a family is the best.

Worst was when I had polio.
Best was when CPS brought us a one day old baby girl to foster 4 and a half years ago. Thankfully, we were able to adopt her when she was a year old and she truly is a joy.

I got mugged and beaten up badly in the process.
Best: peoples' reaction and helpfulness :)
