I am a proffesional cleaner, use pure alcohol, or 94% is what I use. It evaporates quickly and loosens crusted on food. Nevermind, alcohol will haze plastic. I would try a moist rag with just water to rehydrate the problem, and see if that doesn't do the trick. Chances are the Purell has already hazed the plastic it is touching. Hope it isn't on the screen.

do no longer use any paper products (different than Kimwipes) like tissues, etc because of the fact they are made up of wood from trees. instead, any comfortable, sparkling cloth will do. Cotton is rather good, do no longer use polyester or nylon or too plenty synthetic supplies. do no longer use water b/c it is going to wreck the digital stuff. i be conscious of that ipods are not that affordable despite if it somewhat should not be that super of a deal in retaining it because of the fact i recommend you have hte money to purchase/have it so that is maximum serious place is to function/play properly, no longer in all likelihood to be looking "perfect". it is the way i see it.
