Since you ask. I have always done things the way I wanted to do them. For as long as I can remember that resulted in me not running with the crowd.
To be honest I wish I did sometimes only becaues it would be a lot easier to make friends that way. But for the most part I'm glad I've never felt the need to follow the masses just because of the "safety in numbers" concept.
I, by default, do not run with the crowd.

I follow the crowd in my burnt red '74 maverick, it's the only way I can find out where everyone is going.

I'm independent almost to the point that it's a hindrance at times. As the years go by, I grow more and more weary of what "society" is up to, and it's weird because it makes me feel older than I am. I think, though, that there are actually quite a few people in my generation(I'm in my late 20's) who are fed up with the nonsense. I just don't know if many of us know what to do about it, to change things. I certainly don't. No matter what happens though, I have never followed the crowd, not really, and I never will. I get caught up in all of it at times, but it is not how I define myself.
