first of all why do people want or go to africa and yet talk bad about it, especially white people. and this stupidness that africa can't survive without the white men who ever thinks that is stupid. because africa was far better off than when white people came about, to me all white people know is to steal, and destroy look at what you did to africa and and north and south america. And then you guys go into people's land and think you own it please. , and as for the killing of white workers in south africa why are white people there you should be in europe, and leave africa for the africans and if africa is so bad why do we have diamonds growing under our lands and no other place does because god has blessed africa, and white people need to learn to stop stealing from people thats the only way you guys know how to get ahead, Look at what white people did to the natives and now in canada they have to fight for their own lands, you guys are devious within .its just your nature

Telling white people that they should not be in Africa is like telling blacks that they should go back to Africa. My husband is from South Africa so I have his perspective. Africa is a beautiful continent and many people want to visit there and spend their money, which is a good thing for Africa. Tourism there is making billions of dollars per year.
You are right that some Europeans did take over parts of the land like they did to the Indians here in America, but South Africa was better organized when the whites were in power. The roads are in serious need of repair, the police are controlled by organized crime, women are being raped at a rate of 1 in 8 women have been raped, AIDS is a major problem, people are going into the farmland and killing the farmers and living in their houses and no one does anything about it. So you cannot honestly say that it is better now.
As far as the diamond trade, there are blacks killing blacks over there for diamonds. Have you seen Blood Diamond? That is a true story.

You are obviously someone who has never been to Africa, never lived in Africa and - truly - knows nothing about it.
No white man, no outside organization, no colonial power, has ever been as cruel, vicious or destructive to the individual African as has been other Africans. The great slaughters are Africans killing others - the slave trade was Africans selling Africans to white men - slavery was flourishing long before the white man came, the natives just profited from it. The problems in Africa today are not the result of colonial occupation but the greed and corruption that the Africans themselves put in place. They didn't learn it from the colonial powers - they introduced it.
Do some serious reading - not Black proaganda of the "Africa is the garden of Eden and cradle of civilization" variety but real words from people who live there today. With all due respect, you know not of what you talk.

Please don't paint us all with the same brush! I loved Africa for the two years I was there. It is a beautiful continent. I did not like the political situation I found there and how it was oppressing the people but progress is gradually being made.
I am terribly sorry about the ignorance of my people. When they visit they do not go to see for themselves out in the countryside what the citizens problems really are. They prefer to talk to other people just like themselves and decide what is wrong in that way. I think, truly, that they are afraid, afraid of the wild animals and afraid of the people who are different from themselves. Sad!

Maybe you have an unrealistic idea of what Africa is, was should be. Have you been? Have you seen the wholesale slaughter of people in, let's face it, tribal wars? Have you witnessed the "government" sanctioned starvation of thousands in pursuit of political goals?
Do you know how many thousands have been saved by the "evil white man's" anti-malarial drugs? AIDS drugs?
Perhaps you know of some African missions to other parts of the world that have brought health, peace and prosperity to some even-more-desperate parts of the world.
The killing of white workers in South Africa is a puny insignificance compared to the black-on-black slaughter that drove hundreds of thousands of blacks to sneak into South Africa during apartheid. It was, then, their safest, most civilized option. It is not, now.
