Pros of Marriage-
Tax Break
Monogamous sex without the fear of disease
Someone to share your hopes and dreams with
Someone to share the hard times with
Someone to laugh when your kids do something cute
Someone to cry with when you kids do something not sooooo cute
Someone to escape from a hurricane with
Someone to help you put the pieces back together when you've lost everything
Someone to pray with
Someone to hold your hand when your sick
Someone to miss you when your gone
Con's of Marriage
If a democrat wins in 2008 they'll probably repeal the marriage tax break.
Anyway these are my thoughts- Happily married.

Sorry, I can only give you "pros."
- no more stupid mind games from the "dating pool."
- no more fear of STDs.
- no more wondering if your partner is going to be there in the morning, cause they're the type of person who always has one foot planted in the back door, ready to bail at the slightest sign of difficulty.
- having someone who really cares about how you feel - mentally and physically. Someone who will be there for you through the dark times and not just the good times.
That good enough?

all the "benefits" you can have in a marriage can be had outside of it WITHOUT any legal and binding contract in the very likely event of a divorce, a man simply does not benefit from marriage, only a women does by financially hoping to enrich her life at the expense of a man

Pros:You always have someone to be with. You're warm on a cold night. You always have someone to help you, (two are better than one).
Cons:You can't always just up and do what you'd like to.
