I like gerbils because they're easy to take care of, they're energetic & fun to watch, they're very social animals, and they rarely bite. So many people prefer hamsters than gerbils, and I can't blame them. Hamsters are cute, too, but I just prefer gerbils because they bond a bit closer to their owners more than a hamster would. I absolutely say a guinea pig, as well! I have 2 and they're absolutely amazing pets. They're both magnificent for both children and adults and I just love how social they tend to be. They're cute, smart, love attention, and are easy to take care of. I don't know! They're all so adorible and I just can't decide. If I had to, I'd say the guinea pig before the gerbil because guinea pigs are a bit smarter, social, and rarely bite, as well. One thing I love the most about guinea pigs is how they cuddle with you! It's so cute because when they cuddle, it feels like a tiny pillow on your lap. I just love them.

I had pet rats for years, and some mice. Rats don't bite like hamsters and they're more fun than guinea pigs. Mice get o ut of a lot of cages too easily. I like rats the best.

I love rats, I wish I could have one as a pet here, but they are banned... So my second choice is mice! I have a dozen of the little furballs!
