Hamilton had put in the fastest lap and his car looked a little better than Alonso's. Alonso came in for his last set of tires for qualifying (harder ones) and completed his change. When he got done his crew sort of held him there while Lewis was sitting right behind him waiting to do the same, except he was using the softer tires. They timed it so that Alonso just got in his last qualifying lap and Hamilton didn't have enough time to get one more in. Alonso ended up with the pole. I understand being deceitful with other teams but when you start hampering your OWN teammate it starts getting pretty ridiculous. Mclaren has sunk to a new low and even if it wasn't Alonso's decision he still went along with it knowing the implications to his teammate. Shame on them.

Alonso held Hamilton up, in the pits, so Hamilton missed the checked flag and couldn't get his qualifying lap in. Lewis was at least half a second faster than Fernando and therefore Fernando decided to make sure that Lewis doesn't get Pole off him. Ron Dennis is fuming and I don't blame him. I hope they punish Alonso severely, hopefully sack him, as he is not good for the sport and it's reputation. Sack Alonso and never allow another Spaniard to race again, until one can prove that he has as much intelligence as a 10 year old child. Alonso is as intelligent as a five year old and that is why he throws a fit if he can't have whatever he wants. I am totally pi**ed at what has been happening. Lewis has the chance to make new records and Alonso doesn't like it. If Lewis becomes World Champion, he takes Fernando out of the history books as the youngest driver to win the World Championship and Alonso does not want that, even though it would be good for the team as a whole. As a final point, somebody has mentioned the team holding Alonso. That is in fact, false. If that person had been watching, Alonso's pit crew, Hamilton's pit crew and even Ron Dennis were screaming at Alonso to move. They were shouting at him through his radio and were waving their arms at him to go. Alonso, himself, remained stationary and nobody else gave him instructions to do so (except for his Spanish trainer, if anybody). Alonso tried to blame the team by saying they had held him up when tens of millions of people around the world saw otherwise. We saw Ron Dennis get Fernando's trainer, by the scruff of the neck and march him to park ferme. He should have kicked his as* all the way as well. as Alonso has wrongfully accused his pit crew of wrongdoing, I hope they refuse to refuel him and change his tyres, tomorrow.
