honda motorcyles what do you think about these two.?

Question

I was wonder what people thought about these two models. The 919 and 599.

I do not like the kawasaki nor the yamaha fz6. This would be a first in a while not a first. I have rode kz1000 and suzuki gs1000 from the 80's among a lot smallr bikes down to when I started on a gs250 twin. Not even looking at new ones. Just looking at naked standards. The last few years of the nighthawk I am also looking at.

I have two friends who have 919s, and another friend who is going to buy one in the spring. They are great street bikes. They are also reliable and comfortable. The engine is torquey and fast. I would recommend one to somebody who wants a sport bike that they can really rack up the miles on. The 599 is similar to the 919, just slower.

They are fantastic bikes. What do YOU think about them?
If you are thinking about buying one for your first bike I say buy a cheap used single cylinder or small twin bike first and ride it a while and really learn how to ride before moving up to the fast stuff. I'm so tired of hearing about kids buying and dieing on their new fast bikes.

They look cool. I'd rather have a Kawasaki Versys though.
