well i want to read the books, but are they just like the movies? Because that would be cool if they were different, but arent there four of them? that would be pretty sick if they had another movie.

The Bourne movies are a pale reflection of the books - the Bourne trilogy is an amazing read.
There are now 5 Bourne books - the original trilogy and two more, written by Eric Van Lustbader: the Bourne Legacy, and another which has just been released (the name if which escapes me at the moment).
Rest assured that if you read the original trilogy, you will not be disappointed.

Nope, totally different. Only the character's name and some references like Treadmill and the beginning scene in the first movie where he fell off the ship at sea riddled with bullets and waking up an amnesiac where retained. I kept looking for references to Carlos all over the film and was surprised when it ended without any mention of the Jackal at all. For a closer adaptation of the book, try watching the Bourne Identity television mini series starring Richard Chamberlain and Jacklyn Smith. Although even this version changed some scenes in the plot as well, it pretty much followed the original plot in the novel.

must admit i found them quite exciting although a lot of them were boring, if you are 14-20 you might quite enjoy them, any younger and you may be bored any older you may feel a bit, well, too old to read it!

the movies are more thrilling id say
