If you have to ask, VET!!!!!! Forget acting if you have to ask.

They're both very risky options, you've got to be the best of the best to do both. I'd try majoring in fields required to be a vet, that way, in case you change your mind again, you will still have taken some great classes that'll get you other good jobs. In the meanwhile, take acting classes as an elective, since most good actors are discovered.

Even if you want to pursue the acting. Every actor will tell you that you need a real job for in between. Being a vet is a great real job to have. And you can do that anywhere. Acting would require you to live where the jobs are.

If you're asking yourself this question then you need to stay away from acting. I had an agent come to my college where I studied acting and she said 'If you can do something else other than acting and you're even thinking about it then do that thing and forget about acting'. Acting is grueling, often disappointing, no guarantees, slogging it out in the trenches type of work for not always great pay. Most actors have to take it one play at a time or one film at a time without ever becoming famous.

Your previous answer has nailed it. You should be a vet. Acting is not the great job you think. Most of the time you are unemployed, looking for work.

i would be a vet because once you learn how to do everything and get a career, you can stick with it but acting is harder to get into. You aren't always guaranteed a job in acting.

Hon, go with Animals! The fur babies need you.
Acting will always be around and it's something you can do when you retire.
