I was screaming swear words at the TV. WHAT a cheat. Are his days at Mclaren numbered now? Is he so keen to win he now has to cheat? He wants to be top dog and can't cope with the fact his rookie team mate is better than him. Poor Lewis, he SO deserved to be on pole. I hope Lewis wins tomorrow.

If I were Ron Dennis, I would very publically make the point that in the event of any repeat of such tactics during the season, Alonso would be dismissed from the team immediately; even if that brought disapproval from Santender bank, the main Spanish based sponsors of the team. I am assuming that it was a deliberate act by Alonso, who should be professional enough to know what he was doing, even if he wasn't aware of the situation.

The how would be elementary if he did, via sliding off the line on a thank you to the pits in China. besides the fact that the question would rather be "why?" I doubt that any possible grant me with a effectual reason as to why any driving force would ever throw a worldwide championship. Even massive quantities of money can not be the respond. I say that because of the fact driverschronic because of the fact they decide for to win, the money is an extremely useful side result so a techniques as they are in touch. Being worldwide champion will recommend that the money coming to you would be lots useful adequate that even being provided tens or hundreds circumstances greater would be very no longer liable to hold some useful reaction. possibly the only different reason would be if his existence or that of a relatives member were threatened could he win. in case you opt for to symbolize who would be arranged to try this you're a braver guy than me! So did Lewis throw the championship? No

Look at how Ron grab his trainer and lead him off to the pits. Ron isn't taking this lightly. But at the same time, a team can't punish the driver except for firing them. Only FIA can do so.
But the repercussion is bigger than what FIA can do. He's distancing himself from the team. The entire team will now be behind Lewis, and without support from the team, he'll have a hard time in the future.

Sad that topgear favourite fan is a Ferrarri supporter who seems to hate Maclaren full stop. This pitstop to most people eyes was a deliberate attempt by Alonso to scupper Hamiltons chances and as such the team should deal with him harshly! Thought it a shame that Massa had problems as he would have been up there in the mix!

I saw it.
It reminded me of the ruthlessness of M Schumaker
Ron Dennis should give Alonso a private verbal warning.
Any more than that could be construed as favouring Hamilton.
Hamilton will win on his own merits.

I think he should congratulate him. I've had about all I can stand of Larry Hamilton, and I'm sure Alonso has, too. I assume that really wasn't Alonso's doing, but it amuses me to think it was anyway, because Hamilton is an ***.
