A vibe is a general feeling about something, some place or someone. Example: "It feels good here, or she is a very unhappy person." I often try to "scope out" or sense the vibes of a new person or place. It's probably more important than strictly visual observations.
An intuition is a much more detailed conclusion you come to about someone or a situation. You can come to this conclusion through a combination of your ability to sense vibes and your rational thought process. Or you can jump to an intuitive conclusion without any apparent rational thought. I say apparent, because it could be that you are relying on subconscious impressions that you can't access with your cerebral processing. For example, when I first saw my ex husband but didn't know him at all, the intuitive thought flashed through my mind, "If this guy has a wife, he probably keeps her locked up at home." I over-rode my intuition, which would prove profoundly true. Now, I realize that it is important to pay attention to intuition, even if it seems to come from nowhere and not to make much sense.
A guardian spirit is there to protect you, when your life is dangerous or for whatever reason. We should be thankful for that.

Well, vibe and intuition are somehow related but thy are not the same thing.
Let`s say that you arrive to a funeral, most likely the vibe that you are going to get is a sad one.
Intuition is something that you feel and perceive without anything evident, it`s something you know without having something obvious.
Both are about energy, but each ones is perceived and manifested differently.
The vibe is an energy that lingers and it can be perceived by anyone, people have vibes (they might be good or bad), places have vibes, situations bring different vibes too.
Intuition is the ability that every human being has to perceive things that are invisible. Some people have it more developed than others.

i agree that a vibe and intuition are really about the same thing, its a feeling, a knowing, without really often even knowing how you know, vibe is more often used to refer to the actual feeling, where as intuition is used to refer to actions to take or not take, or what to do with the feelings

to combine all three, your guardian spirit may direct thoughts to you to not drive down a certain road, you then feel a vibe to avoid that road, and your intuition may tell you that if you are feeling that way, take another route
