I like Eddie Murphy he makes me laugh but this movie was the worst. It wasnt even remotely funny. He thought just because his dressing up as all the characters in the Nutty Professor movies went well,he thought he could do it with Norbit and the movie was a total bomb!

Yup, been a long time since he's been really funny. My favorite Eddie Murphy comedy was "Coming to America".But actually, my all time favorite Eddie Murphy movie wasn't even a comedy, it was an action fantasy adventure movie, "The Golden Child".

Norbit was awesome. Raspusha was hilarious. Anyone who doesn't like Norbit does not have any appreciation for silly humor which what this is. If you're trying to compare it to The Nutty Professor then you will be disappointed. It's not meant to be like that movie. It's a move all of its own and it deserves its own appreciation

I feel that Eddie Murphy did a excellent job in the movie "Norbit". I feel that he portrayed the person that is extremely overweight in a very positive manner. Wouldn't it be great that every person that is as overweight as that person could think of themselves no differently then someone that is thin. I feel it is very unfair to think that someone that is overweight cannot think and act upon things in life in the same manner as someone that is thin. If you were to put a very thin person in the same role as this overweight person role then it may seem more correct. The idea that someone would wear a two piece bathing suit when extremely overweight may seem very distasteful but at the same time give the person credit for not letting other peoples views and judgments get in the way of who they truly are. Eddy Murphy always has this way of portraying things as the world should see them rather then letting prejudices get in the way.

I thought that after "Dreamgirls" Eddie was turning a different corner in his life and stepping away from the screwball comedies..and then Norbit came out...
*sigh*
Oh Eddie..please do a drama or action flick...you're just not as funny as you used to be.

Yes, norbit was a total disaster... Eddie Murphy was funny 20 years ago, but he is old and the same old thing over and over, so it's tired and painful listening to him wihining and screaming..... why do these so called comedians think it is funny whe they scream and make faces, it is nothing but annoying.... idiots!!
