how do i use craigslist to sell a private home

Not unlike anything else, start by finding the state, the the for sale section and post. It's that easy and free. But to tell you the truth, it isn't a friendly website. You might try zillow.com.

Search "craigslist baltimore" for example, where ever you live. It will bring it up immediatly. Then just follow the directions to post an ad. The one bit of advice I have is to save your ad somewhere else, because you will probably have to post it every day for people to see it. It's just time consuming and irritating to have to retype all that info daily. I have sold quite a few things, although never a home on craigslist successfully. Be careful though you will get a lot of over seas inquiries. I always ignore these, there was some type of scam going on about 3 months ago.
