so many people are just saying that they hate george bush because the want to be like everybody else
now this just isnt fair to him,
dont get me wrong i really dont like him, but look at all the positive things he has done,
1. made assault rifle legal

You noticed that too? His only positive noteworthy accomplishment is one that required that he sit still and do nothing at all.
By the way it was "assault weapons" not assault rifles. Two different things. One is an actual physical artifact and the other is just a marketing term.

He and his party have divided this country to the point that it may take a decade or more for positive productive discourse to return to our legislature.
Our nation no longer has any semblence of political consensus on any important issues. Thanks to Bush's leadership we ignore all of the really important ones.
Congress barely has any mandated policies on which they've chosen to lead.
He destroyed the integrity of our justice department, politicized the pentagon and created a dishonest unfair tax structure.
He has sqaundered 3 trillion dollars on a war and domestic spending that serves no positive productive goal.
Except as you say, congress and really not the president ended the un-constitutional ban on asault rifles.
He just signed signed the bill. I wonder if there was a signing statement on that one?
No. There is no reason other than blind unreasoned party loyalty that any one should like him, not if they take the time to learn the facts and realities of what his adminstration has really acheived on behalf of the advancement of our nation and it's people, which really is nothing.

I think Americans love to go to war. You all say you don't want Bush as president because of the war. Now Obama is trying to impress you all with his words of war. If you are always trying to prove a point, then there is no end to wars.

I said it before...you will notice that a lot who hate him do so cuz it's just the cool thing to do right now.
Don't forget, the marriage penalty went away from or tax returns as well.
