The truth I refer to is the truth that stands the test of time, and that which remains independent of the individual.

It is not the ultimate Truth that is important in life because that is endless, like the life!! but what is really important is the moment when when you realize that you must find that truth!! that is the beginning of enlightenment. Some go further and fetch the truth and some get scared and go back to living like peasants.

i think we are born knowing the ultimate truth, that life and ourselves are in a constant state of change, we grow, learn, develop, and one of the most difficult things is deciding what choices we will make, as we "direct" or rather create ourselves and our life
ps: in response to your additional details, while many truths stand the test over a long time, i dont feel there is a truth outside of the individual, something that is always a truth, forever, though there are many truths that people share, and as i said, they seem true over time
the closet i can come to an untimate truth, that is always true , is the saying "what is truth for me might not be for you, or might not even be for me tomorrow"
for some reason, people have come to believe that there is one exact definition for things/concepts like reality, God, truth , life, purpose of life , etc etc, this simply isnt so , it varies by the individual and the circumstances

Some religious leaders claim to have achieved some kind of ultimate truth to questions regarding life itself.
Your question is so wide in scope . What truth are you referring to. Everyday, people tell lies and tell the truth.
It is far too philosophical unless you specify more clearly .

Then there is no Ultimate Truth - other than we exist in a multi-dimensional reality responsive to consciousness.

The Ultimate Truth is within - the truth about YOU. When you remember it by re-cognizing WHAT you love - reality will synchronize with it.

Ultimate truth is something relative. Each one tends to possess and believe truth differently. We formulate our own answers and we convince ourselves to believe it. We also tend to get used to the truth we formulate and tend to seek different solutions. Hence this hunt for truth is all that we do in our lifetime.
