A regular guide is easy .. But I want to learn more about Japanese gay cultures .. and possibly learn some language.
I am *not* looking for an escort though.

my problem is I don't speak japanese and it's pretty hard to go to bars and things (that are not full of foreigners.) The reason I'm saying "gay" is because I'd like to have a deeper understanding of the japanese gay culture... From the outside, it's really ..err.. different.

I'm not gay. But I know Shinjuku ni-chome is the largest gay town in Japan.

Please go to this town and ask someone to work as your guide.

Just go to ni-chome and hang out. You will be sure to make friends who will tell you all about it.

can't a non-gay guide help you learn some language? I don't get it.
