My opinion, even though i am not a celtics fan, is that they should stick to what they have. Right now, on paper, they look like, arguably, on of the best team in the NBA. Not many people acheive a Big Three, not to mention how high of a level of players they have gotten. The only Big Three that comes to mind is Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili. If you look at them now, they just celebrated their championship didn't they? I think that KG, Allen, and Pierce is probably much better than the other Big Three. But to answer if i had to. I would trade Ray Allen , but with regret. He is a premiere shooter but the only reason I choose him would be because of his age and because he is SOMETIMES known to go on/off, while KG and Pierce always have good days. Hope this is good though!!!

I think a trade to give the line up more depth and youth might be a good move for the future, however if the team didn't win at least 50 and advance to the finals this year the fan discontent would be considerable, so the safe thing to do is to keep the big three and sign some free agent talent to add depth, rebounding and defense, I think the point guards Rondo and Tony Allen will surprise those of you who think the Celtics need to sign a point guard. Ok to stay old this year if they think they can win a championship in a year or two.

Often the best teams in the NBA have what they call a big three, or three headed monster. Boston has achieved that for the first time since the old Bird, Parrish, and McHale teams. I don't think they will, nor do I think they should trade any of those guys.

A lot has been said about the age of these players, but teams like San Antonio, Miami, and Detroit, aren't winning championships with young players. Usually it's guys with a few years under their belts who get the job done.

The Celtics do have some good young players as a supporting cast to the big three. Rajon Rondo will be key this season as the next best guy. The Celtics are primed to make a deep playoff run.

They must stick to what they have. There is no reason to trade Pierce or Allen for more PG's or Centers. They are way over the luxury tax now with KG on board, what more waste more money on signing capable PG's and Centers instead of doing a trade with other teams. Rondo is capable of running the point guard position and he proved it last year. What they need to do is at least one more PG and one more Center. They should try and sign John Lucas from the Houston Rockets because it's not too expensive to get him and he's a reliable PG and sign Alan Henderson from the 76ers. He may not be that great a player but a backup is all they need and he is decent.

I doubt they would trade Ray Allen when they traded 3 players to get him and I know they won't trade Paul Pierce but there are some players in the free agency that can help and even international players. Yea Boston has some top players but they need to fill up their roster and maybe even get a good point guard.

u no i think they should try with what they have now...there are still free agents waiting for teams to take em and im sure they will pick up an ok point guard. if the team isnt doing what they wanted, may be time to get rid of pierce, get a point guard to play with a great pf garnett and excellent shooter allen. but until the all star break, lets see what happens. pierce is the guy to go though if it doesnt work well

No Way. Stick with the BIG 3. Not many teams have three superstars of their caliber. The bench will come with time and free agency. They already picked up a great shooter and bench scorer in Eddie House. Garnett will finally get his ring in 2-3 years. I have no doubts about it.

Absolutely no! Why would you trade any of the 3 main ingredients? They will get people to put around them don't you worry and they won't need to be that great for this team to be effective. As has been stated look at Cleveland! LJ doesn't really have anyone around him and look where they ended up!
