When she's completed menopause she is no longer fertile. Women go through menopause sometime in their 50s. Some women start as early as their 40s.

But as long as she's ovulating, she's fertile.

Good luck.

There is no magic age.......after 35 your chances of getting pregnant decrease, risk of downs syndrome and other issues goes up. It's a personal choice, although I wouldn't want to be mistaken for my child's grandparent at their high school graduation. Both sides have their pro's and con's. I definitely would not want to be one of those people having invitro at fifty, You are going to be in your seventies when your child is in college.......I think that's pushing it a bit. Then again I am a bit biased, I had my kids on the younger end of the scale......if all goes well, my youngest (twins) will be college bound in ten years........and I will be forty in ten years. I will be thirty six when my oldest hits college.

I think the oldest lady to have a baby was 65 and she had IVF and they reversed her menopause. (she lied about her age)

Generally once you start menopause, your baby making days are over. But i think in the US the limit on IVF is 55yrs old

I personally think 45 is pushing it. But I suppose any age woman has the right to have a baby, but does the baby have a right to a younger parent?
