I was 13 years old when I first rode a bicycle. Afterall, I didn't have one nor needed one where I grew up.
Last rode a bike ... hmmm don't know. At least 15 years ago.

My dad, God rest his soul taught me when I was 28, no, I was 8 I think and the bike had a motor and said Harley on it lol. I ride a bike all the time, mountain bike also, one day I am going to build up the courage to take the training wheels off.

OMG I was eight. My dad bought me my first bike....it was a pink girl's bike. My dad explained that the dropped bar would prevent me from 'hurting myself', but the teasing from neighbor kids prolly hurt more at the time...(lol now). One kid told me if I jumped it off ramps, it'd eventually break and my dad would have to get me a boy's bike. The bike broke, and so did my butt. I didn't get a new bike until I was about ten.

5, big mistake too! As soon as they took off the training wheels, I rode it to the next county! I've been traveling ever since. "Freedom of the road baby"!
