The only time I would play the part of a damsel in distress would be when joking around with the men in my life. It would be totally in jest. And so would their part as knight in shining armor. It's good for a laugh or two on both sides.

I couldn't get the window in my daughter's room open so I went and got him. He laughed, pushed it open and viola....Pretty good, huh?

My son got hurt at school and we decided it would be better if he had a male response to his injury so he went and got him.

Apparently, I can't cook. (He's a chef) So when it's something other than pasta, he prefers to prep.

I struggle badly with putting clean sheets on the bed...I'm 5'1 and it's six foot something. He puts them on.

I love him madly. I don't have to pretend. Anytime I have a need, he is there. He is my "knight in rusted armor" (his quote) every day, all day long. Not for pretend, for real.

ya i guess i do...

the other day,I told Hubby I was gonna let
him play "ManlyMan" and finish moving the
compost bin for me, cuz it's starting to get
"webby' (from the spiders) .

I will also say things like,
"Honey...? where's the Hammer?"
even if i know exactly where it is, because i know it will bring him running frantically, to do it for me. ( I guess it's so he can make sure i don't go taking out any walls with it or something...,but i don't care- it's free labor-i'll take it :p )

Haha, all the time. But I'm naturally such an air head so most of the time I'm not pretending.

No, I actually like making them feel helpless. There's a certain joy that comes with opening something for your big strong hubby!

No. Because if I did that, and he liked me because of that, that would not be what I want because that would not be me. He would like me for the wrong reasons. And that would not say much about him or his personality to me. I am a strong female and I do not want to or like to hide it
