Yes, I go first to Wikipedia then look for alternatives. Most of the time I find everything there. I really like it.

It depends upon the questions that pop up. Some are just opinion questions, some require a thorough web search, and a great deal do well with Wiki. I like Wiki--and it's updated often, as a rule.

I use wikipedia to search almost everything:
1.Its popular so there are many articles
2.Its free so many people contribute and read
3.The articles can have pictures and graphs to make reading easier.
So that is why I use wikipedia.

I have been going there for while for information for reports and have great information never found anything wrong.
some teachers have asked me where I found this information and I told them wikipedia and they couldn't believe it.
