Brian Urlacher is all he is cracked up to be. He has turned multiple "quality" linebackers into "superstars". There is a reason why Roosevelt Colvin and Lance Briggs weren't as heavily sought after as there stats would lead you to think they would be. They are a product of the abilities of Brian Urlacher. He is a leader. He leads one of the greatest defenses in NFL, and produces major individual stats every year. Hard to argue with facts.

He probably gets too much media hype but he is one of the best linebackers in the business. What puts him a notch above most others is not only his ability to stop the run but to drop back in pass coverage. He ends up all over the field of play and is quite versatile.
