This is SOO fkn annoying. I used to be that only "scene" kid in my school, with that ebonic/phonetic form of speech. I had a pet rabbit, my own style, my own personality. And now ALL of my friends want to be me, and then other kids who go to my school are doing the same effin thing!!
I know I sound immature, okay? I'm pissed and I just have to let it all out!
Is there like something I can say that can magically turn them back to themselves?!??

They even went as far as buying a rabbit too. And talk like me. Dress like me. Listen to the same music as me. Make their myspaces like me.
Jesus fkn christ what are they going to do next, make their moms like mine too??

Pretend to jump off a bridge, without letting them know your pretending, and then they will all follow and won't be around to copy you anymore! j/k

I know it's annoying, but imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. They think you are so cool and they want to be just like you.
Start calling them Mini-me and ordering them around. Maybe then they'll get pissed off and let you be an individual again.

I hope they don't take the Lords name in vain like you do. But I would suggest that you calm down and remember that immitation is the most sincere form of flattery. When people copy you they are paying you the highest compliment of all. I am sorry to hear that they are stooping to the level of talking ebonic/phonetic. I feel that kind of language just makes a person sound stupid, like they don't know how to speak proper English. I hope that your mom has enough brains to slap your bottom and tell you to use proper English or you will never amount to any thing. I don't know of a single Company in America that would welcome someone that spoke like that. Grow up.

Have you thought about addressing this problem with her, as a friend. Impress upon her that it is important to be yourself and find things that you like. She is probably trying the things you like/do because she sees that it is working for you and she doesn't know what she likes. It sounds like she probably needs some guidance/direction. By taking the time to sit down and talk with her you won't feel guilty about it and she will hopefully adhere to your suggestion. If after speaking with her she doesn't change this behavioral problem within a reasonal amount of time (keeping in mind that it is hard to change habits), then you can simply say to her that you would like to be her friend, but you cannot because she doesn't respect your wishes and this is a real problem for you.

OK look.....since you like to be the ''famous'' guy (and that's how the whole thing started)...you 'd probably know about that kinda stuff.....but clearly you don't so just try this:go to school and be completely different or completely simple,casual....whatever just stop doing some stuff you did and if they still copying everything you do just tell them in a nice how loosers they look...you'll find the way..........good luck!!!

act like their old selfs, tell them "take some jelly and rub it all over my belly". it will make them stop. if it doesn't, make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, freeze it, put some hot fudge on it, then nail it to a tree at school. this should work. but for extra protection on people copying you, nail it to all trees. make a ham sandwich and put it in a box. light it on fire and wish that no one would copy you. okay now yell out loud "i quit" in a public place. any time someone copies you and you don't like it chant "jam jelly jam jelly".

first, ask them if they are copying you. . . (even if it's really obvious that they do. . . )

then, talk to them kindly that you want to have your own originality and you don't want others copying your personality. . .

tell them that the best personality you can have is being unique. . . that they don't even need to copy you just to have a good personality. . .
