HI PrincessHelp♥, a common cause of hair loss in girl is due to our use of tints, dyes and bleaches. More is not better. Frequent use of these products can weaken the hair, making it brittle and prone to breakage or loss. Another of the common causes of hair loss in women is over-use of hairdryers, which strip natural oils from your hair.

Tight curlers, tightly-pulled pony tails and the wrong hair brush can wreak havoc with the strength for your younger sister hair.

Simply your sister need avoid these hair losers for a while, use a good conditioner, the right hairbrush and a once-a-month treatment with mayonnaise worked through the hair and left for half an hour under a shower cap. This remedy also makes her hair grow faster! Your sister need eat big quantities of fruits and vegetables daily. Brewer's yeast, nuts and wheat germ are high in protein, contributing to strong hair.

First of all is she taking any vitamin suppliments, too much vitamin A will cause hair loss- eating too much of one thing every day etc...
Secondly, stress can contribute but also even for myself I lose a great deal of hair (though my hair is thick and long and don't notice) and I go through this every summer now, especially when I wear my hair up in a ponytail.

A former neighbor lost almost ALL of her hair and had to wear a scarf for about 6 months and the doc told her it was from stress. She re-grew it all back and it hasn't happened since that i know of, this happened years ago.

Hope this helps you to figure out what it is- if she has been worried or upset over something , this could be a contributing factor- And the summer heat combined.

I could make some poor chap 2 weaves everyday with the hair I shed.

It comes out in great bunches - and more grows back. I have very thick hair. I do not brush it (curly), or blow dry, or anything. The only time it's not like that is when I have been pregnant.

I have many doctors monitoring me and for a variety of things. None believe the hair loass is a problem or the result of any illness.

It depends, could be genetics that run in the family, or could be stress that is causing your sister to lose her hair.
