I take a hot bath and I stayed there for an hour with lighten candles surrounding me and a "No disturb" sign in my door!

Hey Sweety! You have got the right idea...I go home and get "beat" on! Figure of speech! I get it from all ways! If not in person then I can find someone on the phone who will help out the 'feel bad feelings".....OH Happy Days are here Again...
Happy days are here again
The skies above are clear again
So let's sing a song of cheer again
Happy days are here again

Altogether shout it now
There's no one
Who can doubt it now
So let's tell the world about it now
Happy days are here again

I like to come home to a clean house. If it is possible, see that the house is clean before you leave for work or before you go to bed. That way, when you walk into your home, you aren't stressed about what needs to be done. A good bath always does the trick for me. Don't overwhelm yourself with cooking or cleaning or work. Keep the evening light if possible. I'm not sure what your situation is, but kids sometimes get in the way of what is supposed to be a relaxing evening. After kids are sleeping, or even if their doing another activity. Steal some time for yourself, and also make sure yu get enough sleep that night to recooperate from your day. Otherwise, you will be running on an empty tank which will make the upcoming days even more difficult.
Hope this Helps =]

When I have a really stressful day, I come home, change into some comfy clothes and go for a short walk in my woods. Being in among the natural world helps me to put everything in perspective. While I'm out there I may do a little bit of tidying up, pick up dead limbs and things like that and make a pile of the dead material. That makes a shelter for the mice, squirrels and the Grouse. Yes, it is doing work to get away from work but it's the kind of work that makes me feel good knowing that I'm providing for the betterment of my forest. So, I don't even SEE it as work, more as play and relaxation.

Well, I would go window shopping either alone or with a friend. Or I would drop by the local karaoke bar--not for a drink but for a song or two! Or I would see a movie.
