I'd stay at home. We live high on a hill, well above any sea level rises even if all the snow and ice on the planet melted. If it got really cold we'd be OK. I'm something of an adverturer and my job also takes me to some very inhospitable places so we have a lot of equipoment here for surviving in places like Antarctica.
Fortunately the movie doesn't accurately reflect what could happen. In order to make an exciting movie the writers, directors etc have overdramatised the facts, the reality is much, much slower and far less exciting.
