it depends , if a clown is at a birthday party then yes I love clowns , but if im smoking a cigarette at night and I see a clown just hanging out in the middle of the street then no I do not like clowns at all! I only like clowns when I am expecting to see them , not if they just randomly show up! and I only like them if they are hurting themselves , or other clowns. or trying to fit into a small European car.

Part of the problem is that, because clowns have a permanent grin, you cannot read their true emotion, and gain insight in to their intent.
A lot of human communication is non-verbal, including facial expression and eye contact. This is also why people who wear heavily tinted or mirror sunglasses can seem quite threatening.

It's relevant that I work as a clown, and have been doing so for over 20 years.

I find them a bit sinister and creepy, I've never liked them even as a child. I had to remove my friends Peirot clown from her room before I could sleep in there.. weird I guess
Im 29 now and I still don't like them.

No! I really hate clowns, they were never funny for me but a bit... scary. with the face painted and those clothes and nose and this fake smile...

I like the real ones - you know, the kind that don't dress funny and put on all that weird make-up. I like the ones who clown around and make me laugh, just being funny. :-) bbjo.
